The Flinders Quartet is the vanguard of an extraordinary creative awakening amongst a new generation of string quartets. This Melbourne quartet quickly established a remarkable reputation. Their musical maturity results from intense honing of skills in the tough environment of international chamber competitions.
Guest artist, guitarist Karin Schaupp, will join Flinders Quartet on their third visit to Springwood. Karin has been captivating audiences in Australia, Europe and North America with her unique stage presence, technical mastery and passionate playing.
The programme will include Schubert’s Rosamunde Quartet, Ross Edwards’s Guitar Concerto, Boccherini’s Fandango and some favourite guitar solos from Karin.
